Artist Trading Card Swap

When I set up this ATC Swap, I thought it would be for family, and maybe a few friends.  Over the past years I've received numerous inquiries about participating in our ATC Swap, from all over the world.  I wasn't expecting this, but it's a very pleasant surprise...and I hope it continues to grow.  Please feel free to CONTACT ME with any questions or if you'd like to be added to the list for the next swap.  Thank you.

NEW SWAP - SIGN UP BY AUGUST 30th
    Sept 1, 2023 - February 29, 2024

Welcome, to our Artist Trading Card (ATC) Swap.  A fun way of creating your own mini masterpieces to be traded and collected.

This is for everyone, so please invite anyone you know, to sign up and join us by August 30th, 2023.
Here’s how it works:
  1. Once you sign up, you will receive an email with a list of names and addresses (one of them being your own).  Usually you will create about 7-9 cards per swap.
  2. You buy, or make, your own cards out of mail-able thick card-stock or heavy duty watercolor paper, and they must be 2.5 X 3.5 in.
  3. You can create in any medium you’d like, including (but not limited to) paints, pencils, collages, stencils, markers, washi tape, etc.
  4. On the back of your cards, sign your name, and date it.
  5. Once you have completed your cards:
    a)  Take a quality photo of each card (natural light is best) and send the photos to me via text/email/Whats App.
    b)  You will choose one card to keep for yourself, and then send the remaining cards to the people on the list below (1 card each).  They will also be following these steps, until everyone on our swap, has 1 card from each artist.
  6. Project date:  Sept 1, 2023- Feb 29, 2024 (Save it in your calendar, with reminders.)  You have 6 months to complete this swap.
  7. Theme suggestion:  "It's in the details".
Things to remember:
  • Cards must be 2.5 X 3.5 inches
  • They can be created either vertically or horizontally
  • Please notate the following information on the back of your ATCs:
    • Your name
    • Date completed
    • (Optional) A title for your artwork
    • (Optional) Theme
    • (Optional) any special techniques or notes you wish to include (ex. Glow in the dark)
  • Good workmanship is important, and the ATC you create should be something that you would be delighted to receive in the mail.  That being said, just do your best, and have fun, without stressing about mistakes, or comparing negatively.
