Esther Bril was born in Spain to Christian missionary parents, who traveled the world with her and her siblings.  Ever since she can remember, she has had a natural talent for art, and rare was the day when the edges of her schoolwork was not filled with sketches and doodles.

Living & traveling abroad in Europe, North & South America, Asia, Africa, and Australia, gave her many rich cultural experiences.  It allowed her the opportunity to learn from many, and experiment in different styles, and mediums of art, learning as she went.

She has illustrated numerous works, children's books, and magazines, and done commissioned art for over 24 years.  She is also a professional face painter.  Her desire to help others find joy in creativity has inspired her to teach art for over 20 years in the SoCal area, where she is blessed to have settled with her husband and their six kids.
